One of the most prestigious awards in the field of IT Audit, Security, Risk, Data Privacy and Governance is ISACA’s Hall of Fame award which has been bestowed on Nalin Wijetilleke.
ISACA, erstwhile Information Systems Audit & Control Association is based in the US with over 150,000 members worldwide. It has over 200 chapters in various countries and its qualified professionals play a key role in today’s digital world.
An alumnus of St Aloysius College, Galle, University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Sri Lanka, the Postgraduate Institute of Management (PIM), and University of Oulu, Finland, Nalin Wijetilleke is one of the five who have been recognised globally for their outstanding work for the profession as well as to the community at large. This is a lifetime recognition of the individual from the half century of illustrious ISACA’s history. He has held various leadership roles within ISACA and many other professional organisations. He is highly committed to uplift peoples’ potentials ‘through competency and skills development to gain internationally recognised professional accreditation. Over the years, his efforts have helped, changing the lives of many.
Nalin Wijetilleke has received many other prestigious local and international awards and accolades over the years. He has held various management roles in organisations he has worked that include, Bank of Ceylon, HNB in Sri Lanka, Emirates NBD Bank, RAKBANK in the UAE and KPMG New Zealand. Nalin is a public speaker, trainer, mentor to many entities including Auckland Chamber, New Zealand Mentors, Management Consultant Specialist, Coach and also a voluntary Yoga teacher.
He is currently the Managing Director at ContinuityNZ, New Zealand. Nalin Wijetilleke has been invited to New Orleans, LA, USA in May this year to receive the award in person.
