One of the common questions that people asked when you were a kid was ‘What do you wanna be when you grow up?’ And every single time we heard one wanting to be a doctor, an engineer or even maybe a pilot!

I was (as always) different from the lot. Whenever someone asked me what I would like to be when I grow up, I took it as an opportunity to be creative. So whenever the question is shot, my squeaky voice sounded ‘A Ballerina!-Girl who pleases men’

If you are laughing right now, I wont judge you! Cause this happened every single time I said it out loud. Now that I laugh at my own self for the ‘Tagline’! But after all, who hates a Ballerina? They are beautiful, a pleasant sight to see! They wear lovely dresses and shoes. And most of all they always always wear a smile!

But when you think about it, how many of our childhood dreams ever came true? How many of us gave them up during the ‘Grow -up’ process! What if you didn’t want to grow up? Will their Childhood dream come true? For me it would be a yes! A massive yes. Because I believe the child in my heart never died! Or maybe I strive hard not to kill it!

With time I believe we tend to realize things, look at certain things in different perspectives. When time passed by I tried to understand why I loved a Ballerina in the first place! It’s because they are pretty, They balanced their dance, they made anyone happy and they always always wore a smile! The real question was did I exactly have to be a so-called ballerina to be pleasant, happy, dance and wear a smile?

Life indeed is an adventurous journey. You don’t need a real wooden beam to balance your life unlike a dance. The beam in your real life is within you, to balance it. Be it studies, be it career, be it family or even spirituality! its up to you, to find your balance. And about the smile? Does it cost? Isn’t a smile a beautiful sight? [unless it was this]

So this is to you. To all those who read this piece of my random note. Make sure you take time to balance your beautiful life. Travel, Get-together with friends, have a home cooked lovely family dinner, Work hard on your profession, pray, talk to God! And most of all — smile! Your smile will be a pleasant sight to any one! Make sure you add your beautiful smile to the Good Morning Greeting tomorrow! — Because it was my secret ingredient to achieve my childhood dream.

Therefore I Shall Repeat, Darling, Be Your Own Ballerina!
