Despite the several crises that rocked the corporate sector over the last two years, many companies and suppliers worked hard to keep consumers’ faith.
“… the complex challenges created by the current economic environment has only reinforced their determination to work harder to retain the trust of their current customers and attract the trust of new ones. Trusted brands have remained consistent, reliable and value-for-money—while also cleverly improving and expanding their existing practices to suit their customers’ needs and concerns.” So says the Reader’s Digest’s press release of April 23, presenting the list of New Zealand’s Most Trusted Brands.
The iconic ‘Producer and the Global Supplier of Ceylon Tea’ is on the list of the top twenty while, Whittaker’s, the New Zealand Chocolate giant was named as the runner-up. When compared to the result in 2022, Dilmah has risen on the list.
”In this restless age, we tend to cling to tradition for solace, and few rituals are as comforting as brewing and savouring that perfect cup of tea.” The Dilmah company website says. According to the website of The Trusted Brands New Zealand, ” A Trusted Brand enjoys international appeal, yet at the same time upholds a strong local connection. It has individual relevance for all its consumers, just about anywhere and in any culture.” What it says here is more apt for Dilmah, who, having come from the top tea-producing nation in the world, enjoys widespread local and world-goodwill. They have once more demonstrated that Ceylon Tea is the best treat Sri Lanka can offer to the rest of the globe.
We salute Dilmah for this outstanding accomplishment with tremendous delight and pride.
