The Nawamini Cultural Show 2025, organized by the Sri Lanka Friendship Society of Waikato (Charities Commission Reg: CC43368), will take place on Saturday, 3rd May 2025 from 5.30pm, at the Clarence Theatre (59 Clarence Street, Hamilton Lake, Hamilton) . This vibrant celebration of Sri Lanka’s rich heritage will feature captivating traditional dances, musical performances, and theatrical acts, showcasing the depth of Sri Lanka’s cultural traditions.
This event will also serve as a bridge between generations, with both children and adults coming together to celebrate Sri Lanka’s heritage. The performances will reflect the cultural identity of Sri Lanka while fostering unity and appreciation among the diverse communities. An audience of approximately 550 members of the Sri Lankan community is expected to attend, making it a remarkable display of talent and heritage.

- Pack ‘n Save Parking: Parking is limited to 2 hours. Exceeding this time will result in an $85 fine. CCTV cameras are operating 24/7 at all three entrances to the Pak ‘n Save car park.
- Street Parking: Available from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Monday to Saturday. The first hour is free, the second hour is $3 per hour, and the third hour is $6 per hour. If you overstay for more than 4 hours but not more than 6 hours, a fine of $71 will be issued. Towage fees on Saturdays are $120. Please plan accordingly to avoid any inconvenience.
