Bodhinyanarama Monastery is currently fundraising to build a special care unit for monks and our long-term residents who are unwell or terminally ill.
This care unit will offer monks a peaceful, respectful, and appropriate space during times of illness—when they need care the most.
As a community, we have a wonderful opportunity to support this project in many ways. One of them involves getting a plaque with your name—or a short inscription of your choice—which will be placed along the walkway leading to, and surrounding, the care unit. In this way, the monks will be literally surrounded by the love, support, and good wishes of our community.
Each plaque is $300, and there’s room for three names or three lines of writing. You might like to do this as a family, with friends, or simply on your own. While the minimum is $300, you’re welcome to donate more if you wish.
