Auckland Powerlifting Championships held between the 22nd and 23rd of March, marked a proud moment for the Sri Lankan community in New Zealand as Ridma Chandrasekara struck gold.  Under the 120kg Men’s Raw Open category, Ridma excelled at lifting a total of 480kg leading him to win 1st place at the tournament.
